Paris French Revolution and Napoleon Private Walking Tour
Operated by Paris Tours Coop
Overview
Travel back in time to the most intense days of the French Revolution and Napoleon on a walking tour of Paris. Relive the key moments that transformed the city, the country, and the world. Through a journey along the cobblestone streets and historic squares of Paris, learn about important figures of the time, such as Robespierre, Marat, and Napoleon Bonaparte, and their legacy in Paris, visiting the places that witnessed their triumphs as well as their defeats. We start at the Place Vendôme, where elegance and luxury fill the air, followed by the Tuileries Gardens and the Place de la Concorde, the setting for some of the most bloody events of the French Revolution. We will then cross the Pont de la Concorde and head over to the National Assembly. Our visit will continue towards Les Invalides, final resting place of Napoleon Bonaparte. As we near the end of our time travels, we will cross the Bridge of Alexandre III for one of the most breathtaking views of the Eiffel Tower.
