Immersive tasting of 3 Chartreuses in Nice

Overview

During this experience, participants are guided step by step through a real sensory ritual around the Chartreuse. Upon arrival, they are welcomed in an authentic place where the atmosphere immediately puts in the conditions of complete immersion. The activity begins with an olfactory phase during which they handle and smell different plants, dried flowers and spices to understand the aromatic richness of the liquor. This introduction allows them to awaken their senses and familiarize themselves with the basics of tasting. The Guide then goes on with a captivating storytelling about the Carthusian fathers, explaining the origin and mystery of the recipe. Participants then proceed to taste three iconic Chartreuses, served in their traditional glasses. Each tasting is accompanied by precise explanations to learn how to identify the aromas, understand the differences and fully appreciate each liquor.
