Giverny by Monet A Unique Walking Tour by an Actor Guide

Overview

Step into the world of Claude Monet during this immersive tour of the village where he wrote the final chapter of his life: Giverny. Meet the painter himself, step into his life and discover the role of Giverny in Monet's plans. Why did Monet choose Giverny? Through the story of the final challenge he set for himself, you’ll meet the man behind the legend: a humble artist whom his contemporaries already considered a genius. For such is the paradox of his later years: how does one reinvent oneself when one has become an icon? How does one remain a revolutionary when one is elevated to the status of an absolute master? How do you keep moving forward when the world wants to freeze you in time? This immersive experience takes you to the heart of a fascinating artistic universe: the universe of a man who has achieved greatness, yet is still tormented by doubts, driven by an intact obsession : paint light in all its forms, to make clarity burst forth on the canvas.
