Located south of Lyon, along the river, the Rhône Valley offers breathtaking landscapes where vineyards dive into the river. This wine tour will introduce you to one of France’s oldest vineyards, Côte-Rôtie, known for its steep, sun-drenched hills and world-renowned wines. On this half-day tour, you’ll explore the Côte-Rôtie vineyards, some of the steepest in Europe. Learn about 2000 years of winemaking history and the unique terroir that makes this region special. Enjoy a tasting of 6 wines, highlighting the area’s Syrah and Viognier varieties. Then, visit a family-run winery where the winemaker will share his ancestral craft and the secrets of maintaining these ancient terraced vineyards. Enjoy more tastings and discover the aromatic richness of Côte-Rôtie wines.
