Medieval Alsace and Wine Tasting from Colmar
Operated by Tour.Alsace
Overview
Our first stop is the enchanting village of Eguisheim. Stroll through its narrow streets, admire the colorful half-timbered houses and soak up its medieval atmosphere. Then we head to Kaysersberg, another Alsatian pearl. Let yourself be amazed by its traditional architecture, its fortified bridge and its rich heritage. We will take a short break at the Sigolsheim Necropolis where you will have a panorama of the Alsace Wine Route. The next destination is Riquewihr, famous for its medieval charm. You will have free time to have lunch there. Then, we will visit the majestic Château du Haut-Koenigsbourg. Entrance to the castle is included in our tour, allowing you to explore the different rooms, wander the courtyards and admire the architectural beauty of this medieval fortress. Our last stop will take us to a winegrower where you can taste the fine wines of Alsace.
